Concarus Real Estate Invest GmbH (Berlin), part of the May & Porth Group (Lüneburg/Itzehoe), has bought the Bahnhofs-Center shopping-center in Gelsenkirchen. The seller is a special purpose vehicle of the Cerberus-Group, who mandated Estama as its exclusive sales agent and transaction manager. Goodwin provided legal advice to the seller.
Located next to the main train station and Gelsenkirchen high street, the shopping-center comprises ca. 13,000 m² lettable area, used as retail space and offices/doctor surgeries, as well as 310 car parking spaces. The main tenants are REWE, dm-drogerie, Action and an established medical center.
Concarus plans to redevelop and reposition the shopping-center in the next years.
